Bringing together discus fish from different breeders or origins is easily achievable – if you make the right preparations.

New discus fish always bring their own microflora. Without treatment, joining them can lead to bacterial incompatibility, which can cause stress, mucous membrane problems, or even severe diseases in the entire stock.

Easy Discus Shield was specially developed to reliably reduce these risks.

What makes Easy Discus Shield so effective?

Easy Discus Shield is a quick quarantine bath that reduces germs on new fish, thereby balancing the bacterial pressure between different stocks.

This allows discus fish from different lines to be safely and stress-free joined, without risk to the existing stock.

Application:

150 g pack → 10 liters quarantine bath

300 g pack → 20 liters quarantine bath

1. Fill a clean container with the appropriate amount of water (ideally aquarium water).
2. Stir in the entire contents of the package – do not divide.
3. Place new discus fish in without transport water.
4. Bathe for approx. 15 minutes (optional: light aeration).
5. Transfer fish to the aquarium with a net.
   → Never pour bath water into the aquarium.

Slight renewal of mucous membranes or temporary skin cloudiness after the bath are normal and usually disappear after 1–2 days.
